Unexplained Mysteries; When Ghosts Attack
The Unexplained Mysteries TV show was similarly based as the Unsolved Mysteries show but focused on the “unexplained” level of the mystery, that even if we did have all the information available and solved the mystery of why something was happening, we would not necessarily be able to explain exactly what it was.
At this point, it had been several years since Sightings or any other television show had been in contact with the Pickmans. In fact almost 9 years. They had since had two more children; both boys and were still living in the same little town of Atchison only 8 blocks away from the Sallie house.
At the same time, owners and producers of Sightings had received an inordinate amount of emails
on a variety of the cases they delved into. People wanted to know the ultimate outcome of the phenomena that the featured families had encountered; they were worried and needed a bit more closure.
It’s was a rather interesting and a very impression approach. First, that there had been such an outcry from the public for certain cases, and secondly, that the producers listened to the public and gave them what they wanted. The show was designed to do just that; update the viewing audience on the families that pull at the heartstring of America.

The Pickmans were approached and the basis of the show was pitched to them. This new show was going to be focused on revisiting folks and families that had been featured on the original show. They ultimately became one of the first families featured on the new Unexplained Mysteries TV show.
They television show reviewed some of the old footage from the Sighting’s show and basically interviewed each person and asked, “So how are you today?” Not wanting media frenzy, the Pickmans reported that everything was normal with them; that they had not had anything to do with the Sallie House since moving from it so many years ago.
Some of that was true. For the most part nothing, like what had happened so many years ago was currently happening to the Pickmans. But paranormal activity had not completely stopped and Debra had begun investigated the house on several occasions with several other groups.
Tony on the other hand, who had been the focal point of previously televised appearances had very little to say. He had avoided the house completely for, what had been, ten years. He had no desire to go back.
The final shot of the Unexplained Mysteries TV show episode with the Pickmans had them playing fondly with their young boys. All was well in the world.
